Hello friends, this pretty gal is Bella, and she's a 6-year-old, Lab Retriever mix looking for a loving home. She's a very happy-go-lucky, friendly, girl who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on August 18 because her owners were having issues with their landlord, and they could no longer keep her. Bella is a very smart girl, and is already houstrained, and she gets along very well with children, other dogs and even cats! You could definitely call her a social butterfly. She may be a bit more on the mature side, but she still has plently of playful, puppy years left in her! After all, she is part Lab. This sweet fellow is Jagger, an adorable, brown and black Domestic Shorthair kitty. As you can see, he's a huge cuddle bug! Jagger and his friend, Maddy (on the left), have both been waiting for their forever homes very patiently! His owner surrendered him to the SPCA of Texas on April 24 because they were moving. He is a very sweet boy, but may be a little shy at first. He would do best in a home without children as they tend to scare quiet kitties like himself. He looks forward to filling his days with hanging out and relaxing in a quiet environment. He is five years old and weighs 12 pounds. He is great one-on-one, but he tends to get a little anxious in big crowds. Come and give Jagger a pet today, you won't be able to keep your paws off him! He is also a V.I.P. Regular adoption fees are $185-$285 for puppies 0-6 months, $95-$195 for adult dogs 6 months or older, $75 for senior dogs 7 years or older, $50 for VIP dogs, $95 for cats, $125 for kittens, $75 for senior cats 7 years and older and $50 for VIP cats. Fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older, initial heartworm preventative for dogs, a feline leukemia test for cats four months and older, a microchip, a rabies tag and a free leash or cat carrier.
