Citizens Police Academy

The McKinney Police Department offers a Citizens Police Academy for residents to learn more about police work.   Participants of the academy are introduced to traffic laws, DWI stops, crime scene investigations, SWAT, K9 and more.  

Classes start Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. and take place at the McKinney Public Safety Building for 14 weeks.

Registration deadline is Jan. 25.
