Flag Day honored at Bonham’s Texas State Veterans Home
AUSTIN — Residents at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home will join forces with Disabled American Veterans Chapter 81 for a special Flag Day ceremony at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14.
The ceremony will take place in the home’s dining room and the public is welcome to join.
Following the ceremony, members of the DAV will pass out American flags to the residents.
Texas State Veterans Homes provide affordable, long-term nursing care for Texas veterans, their spouses and Gold Star parents.
