"Twinkle" Family
Additional Family Information: Mother is raising 4 kids alone; Father died a couple years ago. Mom has been diagnosed with a brain tumor which will eventually end her life. All 4 children are special needs children. Youngest is just adorable - he asked his Mom if they were poor and she said only if we don't love each other. He is going blined due to his diabeties and a stroke that he had. He needs sunglasses to wear outside because the sun hurts his dialated eyes- he wants a cool pair of sunglasses for Christmas. Mom does not have a vehicle at this time and gets to work by walking each day. I've never met a family that touched my heart like this one. They live in a very small home with very little money, but some how Mom stays strong. She also is paying to put her oldest son through college because she knows he will go no where without an education. Mom was in hospital over the last couple months in ICU due to her health, so money is strained right now.
