PREVIOUS MEDIA SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are looking for a dynamic individual who wants to excel and has a burning desire for MEDIA sales. Candidates must have a professional demeanor and the creative skills needed to develop business for our radio stations AND digital assets. Your success will be built upon your own ambition, work intensity, responsibility, strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preference will be given to candidates who currently reside and work in Collin County and are involved in local community activities and initiatives.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: Candidates need to be prepared to show examples of previous successful MEDIA selling, a history of working well with others, open-mindedness and a sense of what it takes to win. Previous media sales experience is required to be considered including radio, digital, magazine or newspaper. Passion, high energy, and enough self motivation to win over new accounts and build lasting relationships and rapport with your clients is a MUST!
JOB SUMMARY:To develop existing and new business by being the primary client contact. Includes but not limited to prospecting, setting appointments, making presentations, closing business, working with commercial copy, collecting payment for services and following up on results.
REQUIREMENTS: Includes but not limited to current valid driver’s license, vehicle and proof of insurance. Must pass a motor vehicle background check. Above average computer skills, a good sense of humor and a positive attitude is necessary. This is a full time position.

At least three years of live radio experience is required. Knowing your way around a production studio is a must. RADIO AND INTERNET SALES ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with Sales Managers, Sales Account Executives, Interactive Specialist and Promotions Manager while learning the ins and outs of Radio and Internet Advertising Sales. You will represent all 3 radio stations, KLAK, KMKT and KMAD as well as NextMedia 360.
Includes but not limited to assisting the sales department with data collection and entry, confirmation and reconciling sales orders, researching discrepancies, processing paperwork, maintaining elements of CRMS, writing and proofreading copy, researching new advertising prospects, creating presentations and attending station events.
This is a full time entry level position. Preference will be given to candidates who profess and exhibit a desire to eventually move into full time Radio and Internet Advertising Sales.
REQUIREMENTS:
Includes but not limited to:
· Current valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, proof of insurance and state inspection
· Above average computer and internet skills.
· Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office preferable, including Word, Excel and PPT
· Must have good communication skills - phone and writing.
· Must be familiar with the 97.5 KLAK, 93.1 Katy Country and MadRock 102.5 formats.
· Good sense of humor and a positive attitude. Be able to work full time.
· Ability to learn formalized sales training, take direction and execute systems.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
· Creative skills needed to help develop business for our radio stations and internet based products.
· Need to show ambition, work intensity, responsibility and problem-solving skills.
