REWARD EXCELLENCE IN THE CLASSROOM WITH THE COLLIN COUNTY TEACHER OF THE MONTH/YEAR!

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Month for May, John Boehringer!

John has taught Physics at Prosper High School for 3 years and in his spare time organizes, "Science Circus" demonstrations taught by Prosper and McKinney high schools.

Here’s all you need to do to nominate YOUR favorite teacher:

• Fill out the nomination form attached and fax to 972-838-1330.  This form may be completed by principals, fellow teachers, parents and students.  The more information received about the nominee, the better opportunity the nominee has to be chosen the KLAK Teacher of the Month.

• Winners will be chosen once per month, September 2012 through May 2013.

• Each month, our sponsors, Independent Bank and El Dorado Motors will choose the winning teacher and that person will receive a plaque and check for $500. 

• Each month’s winning teacher is invited to the KLAK studios for a live interview and is presented the check and plaque.

• All Teachers of the Month will be honored at the end of the school year when the Teacher of the Year is announced at a special banquet.  The Teacher of the Year will receive another check for $500 and plaque.
