McDonald’s Is Flipping Its Iconic Arches Upside Down in an Unprecedented Statement

Today is International Women’s Day and one major food chain is making a big statement.  For the first time in McDonald’s history, the golden arches will be turned upside down in celebration of International Women’s Day. Patricia Williams from McDonald’s in Lynnwood, California came up with the idea to “celebrate women everywhere”.   The company will also change the logo on their social media channels as well as have special “packaging, crew shirts and hats, and bag stuffers” to celebrate.
