Finding A Realtor

Whether you are a first time buyer or an experienced seller it is important to choose a fantastic realtor when making a home change.  Your realtor will be working hand in hand with you on a daily basis and making a wise choice when hiring one can make you or break you.

Ham and Bean Soup

Getting dinner on the table every single night is challenging at best and coming up with new and different alternatives for weeknight meals can be daunting.  I love recipes that can be made from pantry staples like beans, add a few fresh ingredients and dinner is served!  When the winter temperatures come on, I always think about a steaming bowl of hot soup.

Tuaca Truffles

Chocolate is everywhere, this time of year all tied up in pretty packages and heart shaped boxes, no wonder we equate love with chocolate. There is something so provocative about the rich dark creamy texture, the way it melts on your tongue with an explosion of unmistakable flavor.  I crave it every day so the news that this stuff is actually good for you is music to my ears!

Get organized

As January comes to a close it is a fantastic time to get organized.  It feels so good to have your home organized everything with a place and the biggest challenge, everything in its place.

Save energy

With temperatures plunging towards freezing, it is a great time to give your house the once over to be sure you are keeping your utility bills as low as possible.  It is hard to estimate exactly how much you can save but every little bit adds up in the long run.

Exercise, just get it done

Having trouble getting motivated to shed those holiday pounds?  When temperatures plummet and skies are grey it can be even more difficult to squeeze in that much needed exercise.  A combination of metabolism boosting choices and short bursts of exercise will yield even faster results.

Creamy Chicken Crepes

Creamy chicken dishes are a favorite at my house but when I make this satisfying concoction and stuff crepes, it really takes it up a notch.  I like to serve these rich creamy chicken crepes with a dinner salad and fresh roasted asparagus.  You can buy crepes already made in the produce section of your grocery store; this is a good alternative to making the crepes yourself.

Superfoods Boost The Immune System

Cold and flu season is in full swing and we all need to take precautions to keep our bodies healthy.  Getting plenty of exercise and rest is important but nothing promotes good health better than proper nutrition.  Eating a well balanced diet keeps your body healthy and adding super foods to your daily routine can step up your game.

New Year's Resolutions

Have you ever noticed that it is a lot easier to make sweeping statements about New Year’s resolutions than it is to keep them?  As the year draws to a close it is only natural to reflect upon where we are and where we want to be, In fact it’s a great time to take stock.

Giant Cinnamon Rolls

Ooey, gooey and oh so delicious! Serve up the sweet, warm cinnamon rolls this holidays!

New Orleans Style Red Beans and Rice

Time to cozy in with some warm comfort food! Mmmmm

Stain Master

If your house is anything like mine then you spend a considerable amount of time battling tough stains on your families clothing. Removing stains really is easy if you have some trade secrets.
