How To NOT Quit Your New Year Resolution

A study in 1988 found that only 19% of people follow through on their resolution after only TWO WEEKS! A more recent study showed that the number has decreased to only EIGHT PERCENT!

How can you beat these statistics? According to UPMC psychiatrist Vint Blackburn, “If [people] actually are able to set short-term goals that they can achieve, in the end they’ll end up achieving a lot of the same goals overtime.”  So, don’t try and quit smoking cold turkey. Shoot for only two days a week in the gym, instead of working out everyday. Goals that are more achievable, are less likely to leave you discouraged.
