If you have bad eyesight, you’ve probably heard it’s from all the time you’ve spent watching TV, on your computer at work, on your phone checking emails, or social media…. aka staring at a screen! And now, there is a new stat about how much time we actually spend staring at a screen.
Not counting the time you’re sleeping, the average American spend almost HALF of their life looking at a screen… that’s an average of 6 hours and 43 minutes a day… 42% of our waking hours!!!
During the survey, three out of four people admitted that they have too much screen time daily, but it’s apparently not stopping us.
In most cases, we take breaks from staring at a screen to look at another one. I.e. computer screen to phone; TV to phone; etc.
What are the most common screens we stare at?
